India vs Brazil Live Streaming: Where To Watch IND vs BRA Football Friendly Live On TV, Online?

India vs Brazil Live Streaming: The stage is set for the much-awaited football showdown in the City of Joy as the India men’s national football team lock horns with Carlo Ancelotti’s Brazil at the Salt Lake Stadium, Kolkata. The Blue Tigers, piloted by Khalid Jamil, will be keen to make a strong statement against the five-time world champions.

Following a memorable 1-1 draw against Panama, the hosts should be brimming with confidence, heading into another historic fixture on home soil. Notably, Brazil is the highest-ranked team India have ever faced in senior football.

India vs Brazil Football: What To Expect?

Ancelotti have named a strong Brazil XI, with top-quality players like Vinicius Jr and Estevao starting for the Marquinhos-led side. India also have a confident squad, spearheaded by Ryan Williams, who scored the only goal for the Blue Tigers in the Panama game.

Brazil are no doubt favourites, but with more than 50,000 people cheering for India, the game could be tricky for the visitors, who are coming off two friendlies against Australia, winning one and drawing the other.

What does this friendly mean to India?

India are ranked 138th, while Brazil sit fifth. Brazil are the highest-ranked side India have faced since the ranking began in 1993, so the match is a rare yardstick for Khalid Jamil’s squad.

It also follows a 1-1 draw with 44th-ranked Panama, giving India a chance to show that result was no fluke. A strong, organised display would lift confidence and the team’s profile at home, even though it is unlikely to move the rankings much.

India’s next assignments are Uruguay in Kolkata on October 6, then two friendlies in New Zealand, in Auckland on November 12 and Christchurch on November 15.
