Kohli was also spotted sharing the dance floor with batting coach Dinesh Karthik, while his victory T-shirt grabbed attention with the slogan, “One felt nice, we did twice,” a nod to RCB’s successful title defence. After opting to bowl first, Rajat Patidar’s side executed their plans brilliantly, using disciplined short-ball tactics to dismantle Gujarat’s powerful batting lineup. While Washington Sundar fought a lone battle with an unbeaten half-century, regular wickets prevented GT from building momentum as they finished with a modest 155/8.
