The celebrations didn’t stop there. Kohli was also spotted sharing the dance floor with batting coach Dinesh Karthik, while his victory T-shirt grabbed attention with the slogan, “One felt nice, we did twice,” a nod to RCB’s successful title defence. Anushka later joined the celebrations online as well, posting a photo of Kohli in the shirt and reacting with a heart emoji after the historic triumph.

Meanwhile, the rest of the squad embraced the party atmosphere in style. Krunal Pandya was seen dancing with the trophy in hand before Kohli joined in, while captain Rajat Patidar led another round of celebrations to the beat of the dhol. How Did RCB Secure Their Second Consecutive IPL Title?

Royal Challengers Bengaluru produced another title-winning performance on the biggest stage, defeating Gujarat Titans by five wickets in the IPL 2026 final to successfully defend their crown. After opting to bowl first, Rajat Patidar’s side executed their plans brilliantly, using disciplined short-ball tactics to dismantle Gujarat’s powerful batting lineup. While Washington Sundar fought a lone battle with an unbeaten half-century, regular wickets prevented GT from building momentum as they finished with a modest 155/8.

The chase belonged to RCB from the outset. Virat Kohli and Venkatesh Iyer came out firing, racing to the fastest team fifty ever recorded in an IPL final and immediately putting Gujarat on the back foot. Although GT briefly threatened a comeback with a cluster of middle-order wickets, Kohli remained in complete control, anchoring the innings with an unbeaten 75 off 42 balls. Supported by Jitesh Sharma, the former captain calmly guided RCB home with two overs to spare, sealing a second straight IPL title and capping another memorable night for the Bengaluru franchise.
