IPL 2026: Where are Chennai Super Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the points table?
As far as the Royal Challengers and Super Kings’ performance in IPL 2026 go, they are 3rd and and 6th in the standings, respectively. Royal Challengers’ form has slightly tapered off after stringing together six wins as they lost their last two matches to the Gujarat Titans and the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). However, they are still firm favourites to qualify for the playoffs and seemingly need only two more victories to do so. They will face the Mumbai Indians on May 10, Sunday, hoping to go to the top of the points table.
As for the Super Kings, they started their season with three consecutive defeats but have started to pick up some steam, winning five matches to go to 10 points. Nevertheless, with the top four teams already having at least 12 points each, the Yellow Army still face an uphill task to reach the playoffs. Ruturaj Gaikwad and co. will face the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in an away game on May 10, Sunday in a bid to further move up the points table.
