GT vs SRH, IPL 2026: Gujarat Titans have bowled the SunRisers Hyderabad for their lowest total in history as they registered a 82-run win in the IPL 2026 game on Tuesday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. While the Titans’ batting performance wasn’t perfect either, their bowling clicked into gear to bundle the Orange Army out for 86 only in 14.5 overs. In the process, they have dethroned the Royal Challengers Bengaluru to take the top spot in the points table.

GT vs SRH, IPL 2026: Gujarat Titans register their lowest powerplay score of the season

The toss in Ahmedabad went in Pat Cummins’ favour as he opted to bowl first. While Cummins remained economical, Praful Hinge took the wickets of Shubman Gill and Jos Buttler inside the powerplay to push the Titans onto the back foot early on. Their powerplay score stood at only 34/2. The SunRisers skipper returned for his third over in the 10th and dismissed the promising Nishant Sandhu for 22. But B Sai Sudharsan grinded it out for a well-compiled half-century and a 60-run stand with Washington Sundar. Towards the end, Sundar dished out some big hits in his 33-ball 50, while Rahul Tewatia faced only one ball for his boundary to take the hosts to 168.

Mohammed Siraj started the proceedings in dreamy fashion by dismissing Travis Head for a duck in the very first over. Abhishek Sharma (8), Ishan Kishan (11) and Ravichandran Smaran (9) departed cheaply to leave the Orange Army reeling at 32/4. Heinrich Klaasen and Salil Arora restored some semblance of control but it was short lived as wickets began falling in clumps again. Pat Cummins was the last batter after Klaasen and Arora to get to double figures as the match ended in the 15th over itself.
