Javon Walton is stepping into the biggest boxing assignment of his young career after accepting a short-notice showdown with former two-division UFC champion Henry Cejudo. The 20-year-old actor, widely recognised for playing Ashtray in Euphoria, will face Cejudo on September 26 in Miami.

While the bout has been described as Cejudo’s professional boxing debut, Walton already owns an unbeaten record in the sport. The late change came after Deen The Great withdrew from the contest because of injury.

Javon Walton vs Henry Cejudo: Boxing Fight Confirmed

Javon Walton has accepted the assignment after Henry Cejudo’s original opponent Deen The Great was forced out. The replacement bout will headline the Misfits Boxing event at the James L. Knight Center in Miami, putting Walton against one of combat sports’ most decorated crossover athletes.

For Walton, the contest represents a dramatic rise in opposition. He turned professional in 2023 and has remained unbeaten.

Walton, who competes under the nickname “Wanna”, currently holds a 3-0-1 professional record with one knockout. He has also competed under Jake Paul’s Most Valuable Promotions banner, appearing twice for the company in December 2024 and September 2025.

His sporting background stretches back to childhood, when he began boxing before becoming a familiar face on screen. The upcoming contest gives him the chance to convert that experience into a major statement against a former UFC champion.

Henry Cejudo Boxing Debut: What To Expect

The September 26 bout will mark Henry Cejudo’s professional boxing debut, rather than Walton’s. Cejudo brings an extraordinary combat-sports résumé into the ring, having won Olympic gold in freestyle wrestling at the 2008 Beijing Games before becoming UFC champion at both flyweight and bantamweight.

The former UFC star was originally scheduled to box Deen The Great before the injury withdrawal. Cejudo has already welcomed the late replacement, while Walton says he accepted the opportunity without hesitation.
