Galatasaray SK are exploring an ambitious package to tempt Bruno Fernandes away from Manchester United, but the Premier League club have made their position clear– the captain is not for sale. The Turkish champions are reportedly considering an offer worth up to €50 million, alongside a lucrative four-year contract for the Portugal international. Fernandes, 31, has entered the final year of his current United deal, yet the club remains determined to retain the midfield maestro, who is no doubt a key part of their plans for the 2026-27 season.

Galatasaray president Dursun Ozbek is reportedly driving the pursuit as the Turkish champions look to make Bruno Fernandes their latest high-profile addition. The proposed package could reach €50 million, with an initial €35 million potentially followed by performance-related bonuses.
The financial incentive for Fernandes would be substantial. Galatasaray are reportedly prepared to offer him around €21m net per season across four years, plus a €4 million signing bonus. That would represent roughly double his current take-home earnings at Manchester United.
The Turkish side could also attach performance-related bonuses linked to domestic titles, assists and Champions League progress, increasing the overall value.
However, there is currently no confirmed bid on Man United’s table. Galatasaray are expected to test the club’s resolve, despite indications that Old Trafford officials have already made their position clear.
Manchester United Decision on Bruno Fernandes
Man United reportedly intend to reject any bid for Bruno Fernandes before the summer transfer deadline and consider him unavailable at any price. His previous €65 million release clause has also expired, leaving potential suitors without a straightforward route to trigger a transfer.
Fernandes currently earns around £200,000 per week and has one year remaining on his contract, with the Red Devils holding an option for another season. While there is no renewal update, the midfielder is understood to prefer continuing at Old Trafford.
Fernandes registered a Premier League-record 21 assists last season, wrapping up the campaign as one of the best United players. Considering his influence, the Premier League club are unlikely to accept any Galatasaray bid this summer.
