According to images obtained by Page Six, Dianna Russini was seen carrying her youngest son while sharing a side hug and a kiss on the lips with her husband, Kevin Goldschmidt. The outing supposedly happened on Mother’s Day, just days after the recent photo controversy, with the couple also spotted exchanging an affectionate hug during the day out.
A source told the outlet that the couple has kept steady through all of it, saying, “People in the community have said they’ve been very resilient as a family.” The insider also mentioned they are not exactly “hiding” from the situation. Russini and Goldschmidt tied the knot in September 2020, and they have two children, Michael and Joey.

Back in April, Dianna Russini stepped down from The Athletic shortly after photos of her with Mike Vrabel at an Arizona hotel sparked widespread scrutiny. In a letter shared on X, she defended her career and professionalism, writing, “I have covered the NFL with professionalism and dedication throughout my career, and I stand behind every story I have ever published.”

Russini also noted that the organization initially supported her during the fallout, saying, “When the Page Six item first appeared, The Athletic supported me unequivocally, expressed confidence in my work and pride in my journalism. For that I am grateful.” However, she criticized the growing speculation, adding, “In the days that followed, unfortunately, commentators in various media have engaged in self-feeding speculation that is simply unmoored from the facts.”
Explaining her decision to leave before her contract ended, she wrote, “Rather than allowing this to continue, I have decided to step aside now — before my current contract expires on June 30,” adding, “I do so not because I accept the narrative that has been constructed around this episode, but because I refuse to lend it further oxygen or to let it define me or my career.”
