At 22 years, 155 days and 21 years, 219 days respectively, the San Antonio Spurs duo set a new benchmark for the youngest high-scoring partnership on the NBA’s biggest stage.
New York Knicks’ 13-Game Playoff Winning Streak Ends in Game 3 Loss
For New York, Jalen Brunson once again led the offense with 32 points, five rebounds, and five assists, but his five turnovers proved costly. OG Anunoby turned in one of his best performances of the postseason, scoring 28 points on 9-of-13 shooting while consistently attacking the Spurs’ defense from the perimeter. Josh Hart chipped in 16 points and knocked down four three-pointers.
The Knicks also received 10 points from Jordan Clarkson in just 13 minutes off the bench, a sharp improvement after a quiet start to the series. However, Karl-Anthony Towns was limited to 11 points on 4-of-10 shooting, while Mikal Bridges managed just two points. With Game 4 set for Wednesday night, New York remains in control of the series at 2-1, but another Spurs victory would turn the Finals into a best-of-three showdown.
