Pakistan keeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan has been facing trolls brutally over his statement of not watching India matches after his poor performance in the first ODI against Bangladesh in Mirpur on March 12, Wednesday. Former Indian cricketer Ajay Jadeja has notably took to X and trolled the 33-year-old how boring it is to score 10 in 20 balls with a strike rate of only 50.
What did Mohammad Rizwan say about Team India matches?
The video that dates back to during T20 World Cup 2026, Rizwan, who was batting in the nets, was seemingly speaking to one of the cameraman, who spoke to him about a match against India. In the video, Rizwan could be heard saying he doesn’t watch India’s matches. Jadeja brutally trolled him by claiming that his innings against Bangladesh in the first of the three ODIs was boring.
Rizwan’s dismissal occurred in the 16th over of the innings when tearaway speedster Nahid Rana bowled a fullish delivery as it angled in from wide off the crease. The keeper-batter’s feet was stuck onto the crease and pushed half-heartedly and got a thick outside edge. Litton Das, who was stationed behind the stumps, took an excellent catch diving to his right
A host of other netizens also trolled Rizwan:
Ek toh jab ye bolta hai, I feel the need for subtitles! 😐

Nahid Rana earns the Player of the Match award:
Rana, the 23-year-old, deservedly took the Player of the Match award home for his stunning figures of 7-0-24-5. Only three Pakistan batters managed to reach double figures as their innings lasted only 30.4 overs, making a paltry score of 114. In response, Tanzid Hasan blasted 67 off 42 deliveries, laced with seven fours and five sixes, headlining the home side’s massive win eight wickets with nearly 35 overs to spare.
The two sides will clash in the second ODI on March 13 in Mirpur, with the game becoming a must-win for the tourists. Bangladesh, meanwhile, will look to wrap up the series.
