PSL 2026: The Pakistan Super League 2026 continues to bring entertainment beyond just cricket, and this time it’s Hyderabad Kingsmen making headlines with a cheeky social media post aimed at Babar Azam.
PSL 2026: Hyderabad Kingsmen Troll Babar Azam With A Funny Post
Shortly after the toss in their clash against Peshawar Zalmi at Karachi’s National Stadium on April 8, the Kingsmen shared a photo featuring Babar and their skipper, Marnus Labuschagne. The caption read, “Marnus with a fan.”
The post quickly gained traction online, turning into a talking point among fans.
As expected, reactions were all over the place. While some fans enjoyed the humour and saw it as harmless banter, others didn’t take it lightly. Supporters of Babar criticised the franchise, calling the post disrespectful. At the same time, a section of fans appreciated the growing social media rivalry between PSL teams, saying it adds extra excitement to the tournament.

Big Record Within Reach for Babar
Amid all the chatter, Babar has a major milestone within touching distance. The right-handed batter is just 56 runs away from becoming the first Pakistani player to score 12,000 runs in T20 cricket.
So far, he has accumulated 11,944 runs across 336 innings in 349 matches, putting him on the verge of creating history.
Babar Azam’s Career Snapshot and Recent Form
Babar began his international journey in Lahore on May 31, 2015, during an ODI against Zimbabwe. Over the years, he has established himself as one of the top batters in the T20 format, scoring 4596 runs in 145 T20I matches and holding the record as the highest run-scorer in internationals.
That said, his recent form has been under scrutiny. He was left out of Pakistan’s playing XI for their third Super 8s game of the T20 World Cup 2026 against Sri Lanka.
Babar Azam’s PSL 2026 Campaign So Far
In this season of the PSL, Babar has had a modest start. He made 39 runs off 28 balls in Zalmi’s opening match against Rawalpindiz. The following game against Islamabad United, led by Shadab Khan, didn’t produce a result as rain forced a washout on March 31.
With records on the line and social media buzzing, Babar Azam remains one of the biggest talking points of PSL 2026.
