AMAZING THAILAND DRONE SHOW FOLLOWING THE EVENT STORY: Queen Suthida of Thailand completed the Amazing Thailand Half Marathon alongside two-time Olympic champion Eliud Kipchoge in the early hours of Sunday (November 30) morning as thousands of spectators filled the streets of Bangkok. The Queen was taking part in an event that hosted 47,000 runners competing in races from 4.5km to a full marathon that began at 02:00 local time (19:00 GMT November 29). Kipchoge, who won gold in the marathon at the 2016 and 2020 Olympics, joined Queen Suthida on the course that was broadcast live on state television station TBS. The daytime temperatures and road closures meant the race was hosted at night to prevent dehydration and minimise the impact on local business. The Queen completed the half marathon, that winds through the Pathum Wan and Sanam Luang districts of Bangkok, in 2 hours 13 minutes and 40 seconds. Ethiopia's Bekele Shiferaw Agunafr won the men's marathon in a time of 2:14:26 and Kenya's Eunice Nyawira Muchiri won the women's event in 2:39:26. (Production: Lucy Thomson, Simon Ormiston)
