RCB vs GT, IPL 2026 Final: With Shubman Gill and B Sai Sudharsan perishing cheaply in the IPL 2026 final between the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and the Gujarat Titans in Ahmedabad, the Orange Cap is all but locked for Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. As a result, fans have been delighted at the thought of Sooryavanshi, the 15-year-old, clinching the Orange Cap after the Rajasthan Royals were knocked out of the tournament.

Coming into the game against the Royal Challengers in the final at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, both Gill (722) and Sudharsan (710) were firmly in the hunt to take the Orange Cap from Sooryavanshi. However, Gill managed only 10 runs before Josh Hazlewood got the Titans skipper’s wicket, while Sai Sudharsan managed only 12 until Bhuvneshwar Kumar dismissed the southpaw. Meanwhile, Sooryavanshi has clattered 776 runs in 16 innings at 48.50 alongside a strike rate of 237.30 with a hundred that came against the SunRisers Hyderabad at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur. The teenage prodigy is also in contention to win the Most Valuable Player (MVP) Award of the Season, Emerging Player of The Season Award and Sierra Super Striker of The Season Award. Along with that, Sooryavanshi is certain to win the most sixes of the season award as he has struck a mind-boggling 72.

Having won the toss in Ahmedabad, Rajat Patidar won the toss and opted to bowl first. After Hazlewood and Bhuvneshwar made early inroads, Rasikh Dar dismissed Nishant Sandhu for 20 to push the Titans further into the mire.

Meanwhile, Krunal Pandya got the better of Jos Buttler, who teetered to 19 off 22 deliveries before being dismissed.
