The Rajasthan Royals will look for revenge against Sunrisers Hyderabad when they face each other at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium on Saturday, April 25 in Match 36 of the Indian Premier League 2026. Coming off a 40-run victory over the Lucknow Super Giants, the Royals find themselves in the third place in points table with 10 points from 7 matches. However, Hyderabad are riding high after their 47-run win over Delhi Capitals in the previous match. As they prepare to play under returning captain Pat Cummins, let’s have a look who can provide tactical depth in the squad as Impact Player in today’s match in Jaipur.

The two teams met each other on April 13 this season in which at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium in which SRH won by 57 runs. This win ended RR’s four-match unbeaten streak to start the season.

RR vs SRH Impact Players For Today’s IPL Match:

Vaibhav Suryavanshi – RR

The Rajasthan Royals have unearthed a diamond in 15-year-old Vaibhav Sooryavanshi, who has become the most talked-about Impact player in the tournament. The young prodigy has redefined the role of a tactical substitute.

Suryavanshi has already notched 254 runs in 7 matches this season. His strike rate of 220.87 is currently the highest in IPL 2026, making him a nightmare for any opening pace battery.

Sakib Hussain – SRH

For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Sakib Hussain could prove to be an impact weapon. Amid the returning regular captain Pat Cummins, the 21-year-old remains in talks for his performance in debut match on April 13 against the same team.

In his dream IPL debut earlier this month, Sakib recorded sensational figures of 4/24 in 4 overs against the same Rajasthan Royals lineup. He took the crucial wicket of opener Yashasvi Jaiswal in his very first over.

Salil Arora – SRH

SunRisers Hyderabad’s middle order can find its impact depth in Salil Arora. He is the primary candidate for tactical substitutions if SRH needs to chase a high total or recover from a top-order collapse. He arrived in the IPL 2026 after a record-breaking season for Punjab in the 2025/26 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, where he was their top run-scorer with 358 runs.

In the previous meeting against RR on April 13, he played a brilliant cameo of 24 runs off just 13 balls (including two sixes), helping SRH post a winning total of 216/6.

Who Else Could be the Impact Player Today?

For the Rajasthan Royals, Shubham Dubey remains a strong candidate if a middle-order collapse demands a steadying hand. On the other hand, SunRisers Hyderabad might look toward Harsh Dubey, the versatile left-arm spin-bowling all-rounder, as a bowling impact sub who took 3 wickets in the final over in their previous outing against Delhi Capitals on April 21, which SRH won by a massive 47 runs.
