Satwik-Chirag vs Azriyn-Tan Semi-final Live streaming Online: The Indian top men’s doubles duo of Satwiksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty will face Malaysia’s Nur Mohd Azriyn Ayub and Tan Wee Kiong in the men’s doubles semifinal of the China Masters 2026 in Shenzhen on Saturday, September 5. The fourth-seeded Indian pair will start as favourites, but standing in their way is a Malaysian combination that has already torn through some of the tournament’s biggest names. Check the match start time, and live streaming details below.
For Satwik and Chirag, this marks the fourth consecutive semifinal appearance at the China Masters. The world No. 5 had to dig deep to book their place in the semifinals. They faced Denmark’s world No. 2 pair Kim Astrup and Anders Skaarup Rasmussen, in the quarterfinals and eventually prevailed 21-13, 16-21, 21-18 after 70 minutes.
Earlier in the tournament, Satwik and Chirag had also been pushed by France’s Christo Popov and Toma Junior Popov in the round of 16. They eventually won the match 21-17, 22-24, 21-9.
If Satwik and Chirag have relied on experience under pressure, Nur Mohd Azriyn Ayub and Tan Wee Kiong have built their semifinal campaign on fearless badminton. The world No. 29 Malaysians have won all three of their matches in Shenzhen in three games, steadily eliminating one opponent after another.
Their campaign began with a stunning comeback against compatriots Aaron Chia and Man Wei Chong. After losing the opening game 14-21, Azriyn and Tan fought back to win the next two 21-15, 21-19. They followed that with another three-game victory over Chia Weijie and Teo Ee Yi, winning 21-18, 16-21, 21-17 in 51 minutes.
The biggest statement came in the quarterfinals, when the Malaysian pair defeated Indonesia’s sixth seeds Sabar Karyaman Gutama and Moh Reza Pahlevi Isfahani 21-17, 16-21, 21-19. The victory sent them into their first-ever Super 750 semifinal together, while 37-year-old Tan Wee Kiong became the oldest semifinalist in China Masters history.
