VARIOUS OF ROVANPERA'S TOYOTA GAZOON RACING CAR ON THE COURSE STORY: Martiņs Sesks lit up the morning session on Thursday (November 27) at Rally Saudi Arabia, storming to the lead in WRC’s newest event after four punishing stages, while all three title contenders struggled in the swirling dust north of Jeddah. The M-Sport Ford driver showed blistering pace early on, topping the standings on stage 2 and 3 to carve out a 7.3-second advantage. He missed a turn on the final stage of the morning which cut that lead back, but Sesks is still 1.3-seconds ahead of Hyundai Shell Mobis' Adrien Fourmaux, with Sami Pajari just 0.4 seconds further back. The title contenders Elfyn Evans, Sebastien Ogier and Kalle Rovanpera had the toughest conditions going out early on causing dust to fly up on the loose surface and Toyota Gazoo Racing's Evans also missed a turn on his final stage. The Welshman struggled for traciton and his 50 seconds off the pace but is ahead of Ogier in the championship, while Rovanpera, who punctured a tire but elected not to stop is down in tenth.
