England and Rajasthan Royals speedster Jofra Archer’s 11-year-old tweet has surfaced amid Vijay Thalapathy’s dominance in Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections 2026. Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections 2026: Vijay Thalapathy on their way to a massive victory
Actor-turned-politician C Joseph Vijay, widely recognized as Thalapathy, and his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), are poised for a significant victory in Tamil Nadu. The party has secured 18 seats and is leading in over 90 others. Earlier in the day, TVK experienced a decline in its lead, but it quickly regained momentum, surpassing rivals Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) and All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (ADMK). TVK leader Vijay, who is contesting from both Perambur and Trichy East, is leading in both constituencies by substantial margins. The TVK, under Vijay’s leadership, opted to contest independently across all 234 assembly constituencies. The assembly elections have been a fiercely contested three-way battle among TVK, DMK, and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

How has Jofra Archer performed in IPL 2026?
Having been retained by the Royals ahead of IPL 2026, the Barbadian has forged a formidable new-ball bowling combination with Nandre Burger, capable of troubling any batting unit in the tournament. With 15 scalps in 10 matches, he is the highest wicket-taker for the Royals and averages a healthy 21.26.
With 107 dot balls, he is second in that category for most dot deliveries currently in IPL 2026.
