Trinity Rodman showed her support for boyfriend Ben Shelton in style during his US Open campaign on Wednesday. The 24-year-old USWNT star was in the stands at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in New York as the 23-year-old tennis player took to the court.
Rodman, the daughter of NBA legend Dennis Rodman and Michelle Moyer, caught attention with her outfit as she wore a shirt featuring a special message for Shelton. Her appearance added a sweet touch to the occasion as she cheered on her boyfriend from the stands.

Trinity Rodman made sure her support for boyfriend Ben Shelton was impossible to miss at the US Open on Wednesday. The Washington Spirit and USWNT star was spotted in the stands during Shelton’s match against Hubert Hurkacz wearing a black crop top that read, “I ❤️ my boyfriend.” The playful outfit quickly caught attention as Rodman cheered on the American tennis star.
Rodman has regularly been present at Shelton’s matches despite being in the middle of her NWSL season with the Washington Spirit. She currently has around a week between games, with her next match against the Portland Thorns scheduled for Sunday, the same day as the US Open men’s final. She had also attended Shelton’s first-round match on Monday, when she wore another shirt showing her support.
The soccer star has previously found creative ways to back Shelton, including wearing a “Ben10” top in June. Ahead of the US Open, she also travelled to Montreal after one of her own games to surprise him before his Canadian Open match. “Surprised his a–, happy matchday in Montreal 😘❤️ @benshelton,” Rodman wrote on her Instagram Stories alongside a video of the surprise.
How Trinity Rodman and Ben Shelton’s Relationship Began
Rodman and Shelton have been publicly dating since March 2025, after the soccer star made the first move by messaging him on social media. During an appearance on Kylie Kelce’s Not Gonna Lie podcast, Rodman admitted she was embarrassed by how their relationship began. “Everything I do is just embarrassing. I’m really embarrassed,” she said. She revealed that she slid into Shelton’s DMs and sent him a simple message: “I said ‘You’re sick, fire emoji,’ that’s it,” Trinity said of her pick-up line.
The approach worked almost immediately, with Shelton replying within minutes. “It worked; he responded within 10 minutes, so I win,” the NWSL star said. Since then, Rodman has become a regular presence at Shelton’s matches, and her latest US Open appearance showed once again that she is more than happy to support her boyfriend while balancing her own professional soccer commitments.
