Tyler Herro is facing a legal dispute just days after his move to Milwaukee as part of a trade that sent him to the Bucks. The NBA guard and fitness influencer Katya Elise Henry have ended their relationship, and their split has now turned into a custody battle involving their two children. According to TMZ, both parents have filed court documents as they work through arrangements for custody and financial support.
Court records obtained by TMZ show that Herro initially asked a judge to establish a formal parenting plan and determine his child support obligations. The 26-year-old reportedly said he had been providing Henry with financial assistance and other support since the birth of their child. However, Herro withdrew his filing a few days later, leaving the custody and support dispute between the former couple unresolved.

NBA star Tyler Herro and fitness influencer Katya Elise Henry have ended their relationship, but their separation has quickly turned into a legal dispute. The former couple, who share two young children, are now dealing with a court battle over custody and financial support, according to TMZ. Their daughter was born in 2021, while their son arrived in 2023.
Herro initially approached the court seeking a formal parenting arrangement and a decision on his child support responsibilities. The Milwaukee Bucks guard also stated that he had been voluntarily providing financial support to Henry since the birth of their child. However, he withdrew his case just days after filing it, according to the report.
Henry subsequently filed her own petition, claiming that she and Herro had been together for nearly seven years and that she had primarily cared for their children while handling most of the major decisions. She is seeking primary custody but said she wants the children to maintain a relationship with their father. However, Henry also requested safeguards and restrictions, citing what she described as Herro’s “historical conduct,” while deliberately leaving the specific allegations out of her filing.

The fitness influencer also pointed to the significant difference in their incomes, noting that Herro earns substantial money as a professional basketball player. The former couple began dating in 2020, around the time Herro entered the NBA with the Miami Heat, and later welcomed their two children. Neither Herro nor Henry has publicly commented on the ongoing case.
Henry, who has built a large following through her fitness career and has more than 7 million Instagram followers, said in 2024 that she planned to reduce her business commitments to focus more on motherhood. Herro, meanwhile, has established himself as a prominent NBA guard and won the Sixth Man of the Year award in 2022. The custody and support dispute remains ongoing.
