Good news for mixed martial arts (MMA) fans as UFC is back in 2026. The first UFC pay-per-view (PPV) of the year takes place this weekend and it will see old warhorse Justin Gaethje aka. The Highlight back in action after a decent 10-month break. The American mixed martial artist will take on British star Paddy Pimblett in the main event of UFC 324.
The pair will battle it out for the UFC’s interim lightweight title after champion Ilia Topuria announced that he would not be fighting for the foreseeable future due to personal reasons. Gaethje last fought Rafael Fiziev in March 2025 and earned a hard-fought victory over the Azerbaijani fighter, courtesy a unanimous decision. Meanwhile, Pimblett comes into this fight on the back of his biggest win to date, a third round knockout win against Michael Chandler.Â
