UFC 330 in Philadelphia was a historic night of mixed martial arts, featuring record-breaking performances, emotional retirements, and thrilling finishes from stars like Islam Makhachev, Ian Machado Garry, and Mackenzie Dern. But beyond the glory of championship gold and Octagon victories, it was also an incredibly lucrative night for the event’s biggest winners. While official athletic commission contracts are kept strictly private, current industry payout data gives us a look at how much fighters like Jalin Turner, Dustin Stoltzfus, and Esteban Ribovics earned for their spectacular performances.

Islam Makhachev’s Historic Win and Massive Payday

Islam Makhachev successfully defended his UFC welterweight championship on Saturday night, grinding out a unanimous decision (49-46, 49-46, 48-47) over Ireland’s Ian Machado Garry. Dictating the tempo across 25 minutes with suffocating top control and dynamic striking, Makhachev not only retained his belt but surpassed Anderson Silva’s legendary mark by securing an incredible 17th consecutive UFC win.

That record-setting performance came with a champion-sized pay cheque. Current estimates show Makhachev walked away as the highest-paid fighter on the card, pulling in a recorded base payout of approximately $818,000. However, under the new championship pay structures and with pay-per-view points factored in, Makhachev’s total compensation for the night is expected to soar into the $2 million to $4 million range. Garry, who respectfully conceded defeat after the bout, walked away with an estimated $181,000.

Mackenzie Dern Cashes In On Her Title Defense

In the co-main event, UFC women’s strawweight champion Mackenzie Dern successfully defended her title for the first time. The Phoenix native utilised dominant grappling and relentless submission threats to defeat Canada’s Gillian Robertson via unanimous decision. Dern controlled the pace on the mat across 25 minutes, constantly threatening transitions and nearly securing a rear-naked choke at the end of the first round.

Entering the cage as the reigning champion meant a significant pay bump. Dern’s complete five-round performance earned her an estimated $456,000, easily dwarfing her challenger’s estimated $116,000 payout.

Main Card Winners Pad Their Wallets

The rest of the main card was loaded with spectacular finishes, and the victors were rewarded handsomely for not leaving their fights in the hands of the judges:

Jalin Turner ($85,000): The California lightweight made incredibly quick work of Kaue Fernandes, needing just 39 seconds to secure a blistering first-round knockout. His devastating left hand didn’t just snap Fernandes’ unbeaten streak—it bumped Turner’s total earnings to an estimated $281,000, bolstered by $85,000 in show money, an $85,000 win bonus, and significant performance bonuses.

Dustin Stoltzfus ($233,000): Snapping a two-fight skid, the Lancaster, Pa., native submitted his former training partner Mansur Abdul-Malik with a rear-naked choke at 4:25 of the second round. Dragging the middleweight contest to the canvas and finding his rhythm earned Stoltzfus a massive estimated payout of $233,000.

Esteban Ribovics ($163,000): Kicking off the main card, the Argentine delivered a statement performance by finishing Brazilian veteran Edson Barboza via TKO at 1:32 of the second round. His crisp boxing and sharp leg kicks earned him an estimated $163,000 for the night. The bout was particularly emotional, as it saw the 40-year-old Barboza (who took home roughly $153,000) officially announce his retirement from mixed martial arts, leaving his gloves on the canvas after a 16-year run in the promotion.
