Uroš Medić made a statement in the prelims with a first-round KO over Geoff Neal at 1:19. Medić landed a clean left hook to Neal’s temple early in the fight, ending the match in seconds. This marked Medić’s third consecutive first-round knockout and continued his impressive run since moving to the welterweight division. Melquizael Costa also impressed, defeating Dan Ige by TKO with a spinning back kick followed by punches at 4:56 of Round 1. Costa had earlier stunned Ige with a front kick, leaving him vulnerable.
