The US Open 2026 has reached its final four, and there is plenty to look forward to in New York. Alexander Zverev is two wins away from another Grand Slam title, while Karen Khachanov has found his way back to a major semifinal. Ben Shelton and Frances Tiafoe will then meet in a highly anticipated all-American battle. On the women’s side, Coco Gauff faces newly crowned world No. 1 Elena Rybakina, while defending champion Aryna Sabalenka takes on Jessica Pegula.
With the final places now decided, here’s a look at the US Open 2026 semifinal fixtures, how the players reached the last four and when each match will be played.
Alexander Zverev vs Karen Khachanov
Top seed Alexander Zverev booked his place in the final four by beating Botic van de Zandschulp 6-2, 7-5, 6-1. The German recovered from an erratic start on serve to take control and reach his third US Open semifinal.
His opponent will be Karen Khachanov, who advanced after Alexander Blockx retired while trailing 6-2, 7-5, 3-2. The Russian reached his first Grand Slam semifinal since 2022 after Blockx, who was carrying a rib injury, was forced to stop.

Ben Shelton vs Frances Tiafoe
The second men’s semifinal will be an all-American battle between Ben Shelton and Frances Tiafoe.
Shelton produced one of the tournament’s biggest results by beating defending champion Carlos Alcaraz in a five-set thriller, while Tiafoe also survived a five-set quarterfinal against fellow American Alex Michelsen.

Waiting for her is the new world No. 1, Elena Rybakina. The Kazakhstani player overcame Zheng Qinwen 3-6, 6-1, 6-4 to reach her first US Open semifinal and claim the top ranking.
