Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s brilliant century has put India in a strong position against England in the Under-19 World Cup final being played in Harare. The young batter reached his hundred in just 55 balls, which is the fastest century by an Indian player in the history of the U19 World Cup. His aggressive and confident batting gave India early momentum in the big final. India chose to bat first but suffered an early setback when Aaron George was dismissed cheaply in the fourth over. After that early loss, Suryavanshi and Ayush Mhatre steadied the innings and built a solid partnership. The duo added 142 runs off 90 Balls for the second wicket, putting pressure back on the England bowlers. Mahatre played a calm and responsible knock before getting out for 53 in the 20th over.
