With comedian Pranit More in the news for all the wrong reasons for the controversy that occurred in his recent show, an old video of rising Indian cricketer Vaibhav Sooryavanshi appearing on one of his shows has surfaced. The 15-year-old batting star was all smiles as More heaped praise for his exploits despite only recently bursting on to the big stage.
What did Pranit More say about Vaibhav Sooryavanshi?
Standing on the stage while addressing the audience, More heaped praise on Sooryavanshi for his heroics in the U19 World Cup final against England when the youngster smashed 175 to propel India to over 400 runs and eventually win by 100 runs. Calling him the ‘real Dhurandhar’, More said:
“He is such a nice boy. It was a point of pride for me, knowing he follows me on Instagram. He asked me before the World Cup final that I’m in Amravati. Can I come to your show? I told him please come. But then he said don’t take my class. I said you take Pakistani players’ class, so I won’t take yours. He is the real Dhurandhar. What a batting! Did you all watch the U19 final? He made 175 off only 80 balls. During drinks break, umpire went to him and told him it’s a one-day and not a T20. England bowlers have kept a status, ‘Ek Bihari, sab pe bhaari’. There is also this reel that has come of Vaibhav comprising Complan. Vaibhav says, ‘I’m a Complan boy’. He is young. Now all players think they must consume Complan to perform well. Even Babar Azam has started taking Complan. People told him it increases height not strike rate.”

Luckily, an RR manager stayed with him the entire time. Safe to say, Suryavanshi is in good hands.pic.twitter.com/QtE1PMHGda

Pranit More lands in trouble
With someone from the audience during the show cracking a distasteful ‘Rs 370 biryani’ joke, More himself invited plenty of criticism as it caused massive outrage among the mass public. The magnitude of criticism has been severe to the point of More deleting his Instagram account. Comedian Kusha Kapila has already slammed him.
Meanwhile, the personality named Himanshu Jangra, who made the controversial ‘Rs 370 biryani’ remark has been sacked by his employee Gurugram as soon as the video went viral. The controversy arose when Jangra, during the show, recounted an incident where he spent Rs 370 on a plate of chicken biryani during a date. When the woman requested a ride home, he implied that he expected favors in return for the money spent on the meal, according to Jangra.
