The fierce rivalry cricket match between India and Pakistan had the whole world on the edge of their seats as India won by 61 runs in the T20I World Cup 2026. However, the spotlight was on Pakistan's spinner Abrar Ahmed in the second half of the game due to a funny moment.
The fans mercilessly trolled the leg spinner, not only for his costly spell but also for his unique bowling action and the on-field antics that seemed to backfire in the light of Colombo.
The crowd never forgets, and for Abrar, his dismissal against Varun Chakaravarthy was particularly harsh. A viral video shows fans in the stands mimicking Abrar’s unique head tilt and delivery stride as he was dismissed on a sublime delivery by India's mystery spinner.

On the pitch, the match was a complete domination by the Men in Blue as they clearly demonstrated why they are the defending champions. After being invited to bat first, Ishan Kishan delivered a spectacular innings of 77 runs from only 40 balls.
The left-hander completely tore apart the Pakistani pace bowlers and negated the spin threat. India reached 175/7, a score that was far too good for their arch rivals to get past on a pitch that started to assist the spinners as the game went on.
The reply of Salman Ali Agha and company was a total disaster. Hardik Pandya set the tone with the wicket maiden, and Jasprit Bumrah wasted no time in removing the batters with a perfect seamers, indicating the opposition was in deep trouble at 13/3.
Although Usman Khan's resilient 44 helped a little, the rest of the batting order capitulated under the combined pressure of Axar Patel and Varun, who claimed four wickets between them.
This very healthy difference in the margin of win is counted as one of the most remarkable victories for India in the history of the T20 World Cup. Moreover, India has confirmed their place in the Super 8 and will be taking on the Netherlands on February 18 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
