England, meanwhile, have also made two changes to their playing XI, adding more pace bowlers. Saqib Mahmood and Gus Atkinson have been drafted in the side for Liam Dawson and Josh Tongue. Dawson lost his spot despite scoring a vital half-century in the series-opener at Edgbaston, Birmingham after England suffered a batting collapse.

The Men in Blue had also found themselves in a tricky spot, losing Rohit Sharma (11) and Virat Kohli (5).
Nevertheless, Shubman Gill (80), Axar Patel (57*) and Washington Sundar (52) made pristine half-centuries to take Team India over the line.
