Wimbledon 2026: With the organizers of Wimbledon putting together a gala, the night after the Grass Court Grand Slam event, Jannik Sinner and Linda Noskova were decked in stylish outfits for the vibrant occasion. Sinner and Noskova, winners of the men’s and women’s category, respectively, were seen dancing adorably the champions’ gala as a video of the same surfaced on social media.

Wimbledon 2026: Jannik Sinner outplays Alexander Zverev in a four-set game to clinch second second title

Sinner, who consigned seven-time Wimbledon champion Novak Djokovic to a straight-set defeat in the semi-final, delivered another power-packed performance in the final against Germany’s Alexander Zverev. Zverev, who had won this year’s Roland Garros, had walked into the final as a slight underdog and threatened an upset after winning a tight first set. However, Sinner regained overwhelming power in since the second set as Zverev ran out of steam. Zverev still showed resistance but a tumble in the third set means things became easier for Sinner to win the fourth and eventually clinch the title.

In the process, Sinner has become the 10th player to successfully defend his Wimbledon title in the professional era and it proved to be the 10th successive triumph over Zverev.

Wimbledon 2026: Linda Noskova pays moving tribute to her mother after Grand Slam title victory

With Linda Noskova and Karolina Muchova both reaching the Wimbledon final for the first time, it was the former who emerged victorious. As a result, Noskova couldn’t help but pay tribute to her late mother, who passed away following a prolonged battle with cancer ahead of the 2024 edition. She said, as quoted by India Today:

There’s also one more person I would like to thank, which is my mom. I definitely would not be standing here without her, so thank you. I don’t cry normally, this is not okay for me. I’ve been enjoying these two weeks so much. All of the sad tears, all of the happy tears. All the sweat and blood that went into this, it was all worth it. I will definitely never forget these two weeks.”
