Seeded No. 10 and No. 9 respectively, both players have produced remarkable campaigns to reach their first Wimbledon final, ensuring a brand-new name will lift the iconic Venus Rosewater Dish.

The final also marks the first all-Czech Wimbledon women’s singles final in the Open Era and continues Czechia’s remarkable dominance in women’s tennis. After Marketa Vondrousova (2023) and Barbora Krejcikova (2024), Czechia is guaranteed its third Wimbledon women’s singles title in four years.

After surviving a match point against Sorana Cirstea in the third round, Noskova dominated the second week, defeating Madison Keys, Elise Mertens, and Marta Kostyuk in straight sets to reach her maiden Grand Slam final.
