Brock Lesnar Avoids Direct Confrontation With Oba Femi
Paul Heyman opened the segment by taking aim at Oba Femi, claiming the rising star had become fixated on Brock Lesnar. He questioned Femi’s decision to give up a World Title opportunity for a Steel Cage Match against Lesnar, suggesting it showed poor judgment. At the same time, Heyman admitted Lesnar was equally focused on Femi, warning that obsession only made The Beast even more dangerous. He then claimed he had secured a restraining order through connections with a Dallas judge, saying Femi would be arrested if he came within 100 feet of Lesnar.
Despite the warning, Oba Femi stormed to the ring and tore through the security guards protecting Heyman and Lesnar. The duo quickly retreated as Femi mocked Lesnar for going from “running this place to running away.” He promised to defeat Lesnar at SummerSlam, insisting that even if he had chosen to pursue a world championship, Lesnar would have found a way to interfere anyway. Seth Rollins Stands Tall After Taking Down Roman Reigns During SummerSlam Contract Signing
Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins made their SummerSlam World Heavyweight Championship clash official by signing the contract during the closing segment of Raw. Rollins signed first and reminded Reigns that, in his eyes, the only certainties in life are “death, taxes and Seth Rollins beating Roman Reigns.” Reigns refused to let him leave without firing back, claiming that even if Rollins managed to win the title, he would only end up injured and forced to vacate it again. He also mocked Rollins for relying on the Money in the Bank contract to capture championships, insisting Rollins would always remain second best while he stayed at the top.
