Zimbabwe Women vs South Africa Women 1st T20I LIVE Streaming: The historic five-match series marks the first-ever senior bilateral tour by South Africa Women to Zimbabwe, adding further significance to the opening encounter. The two teams have rarely met in senior T20I cricket outside multi-nation competitions and played out a thrilling tie during the African Games in March 2024.
Zimbabwe Women, also known as the Lady Chevrons, will enter the series with renewed confidence under Josephine Nkomo, who returns as captain alongside experienced batter Sharne Mayers. Beloved Biza will also be one of the players to watch after an impressive period for Zimbabwe, with her aggressive batting and right-arm medium-fast bowling making her a key all-round option.
South Africa Women will start as favourites on paper but arrive with a modified squad, with several senior players rested. Laura Wolvaardt and Anneke Bosch provide experience at the top of the order, while Annerie Dercksen is expected to play an important role in the middle order. Uncapped players including Luyanda Nzuza, Nthabiseng Nini and Caitlin Wyngaard could also make their debuts during the series.
