Will iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max Launch in Canada?
The iPhone 18 Pro and the iPhone 18 Pro Max are anticipated to be key to the September launch plans of Apple Inc. This is important in light of the fact that Apple Inc. is believed to be reconsidering its conventional launch plans for the iPhone while reuters indicates that Apple will focus the September launch on its high-end models.
For Canadian customers, that means the Pro models could become the main new iPhones available during the initial launch period.
Will Apple Launch the Foldable iPhone in Canada?
The folding iPhone is possibly the product that should be followed closely while reuters indicates that Apple will introduce its first folding iPhone, and it is possible that it will cost more than US$2,000.
According to the analysts quoted by Reuters, it will be possible for Apple to account for approximately 40% of the global market for foldable phones by the end of 2027. IDC predicts that global shipments of foldable smartphones will increase by nearly 30% in 2026, although the overall smartphone market will experience slower growth.
iPhone 18 Pro Pre-Order Date Canada
The pre-order for the new Pro lineup on September 12, 2026, has been heavily speculated. A September 18 release for the lineup has likewise been mentioned however, these dates need to be taken with a grain of salt until such time that an official date for Canadian ordering from Apple becomes available. There is historical precedence for the above dates, considering Apple’s 2025 release. On September 12, 2025, the company opened iPhone 17 Pro/Pro Max pre-orders.
iPhone 18 Pro Pre-Order Time Canada
There has not yet been any official announcement about the pre-order time for the iPhone 18 Pro in Canada. However, last year Apple began accepting pre-orders at 5:00 a.m. Pacific Daylight Time (PDT), meaning 8:00 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) in Canada. Should Apple keep to the same timeline in 2026, then the pre-orders may begin in the early morning hours again.
iPhone 18 Pro Release Date Canada
The projected window for the release is mid-September 18, 2026. This is in line with the previous pattern adopted by Apple in 2025, which saw the release of the iPhone 17 Pro and Pro Max on September 19 following pre-orders a week prior however, the Canadian launch date is yet to be officially announced by Apple.
iPhone 18 Pro Expected Price in Canada
Canadian pricing is not officially available yet, but the previous generation gives buyers a useful benchmark.
- iPhone 17 Pro: Started at C$1,599.
- iPhone 17 Pro Max: Started at C$1,749.
- iPhone 17 Pro 512GB: C$1,899.
- iPhone 17 Pro 1TB: C$2,199.
- iPhone 17 Pro Max 2TB: C$2,949.
- The iPhone 18 Pro range could therefore remain firmly in the premium category.
Any 2026 estimate should be treated cautiously because Canadian pricing can be affected by exchange rates, component costs, taxes and Apple’s regional pricing strategy.
iPhone 18 Pro Expected Colors in Canada
Reports have pointed toward several possible finishes, although Apple has not confirmed the Canadian colour lineup.
- Dark Cherry/Burgundy
- Light Blue or Sky Blue
- Silver
- Dark or black-style finish
The previous generation launched in Canada in Cosmic Orange, Deep Blue and Silver, showing that Apple is willing to use distinctive colours for its Pro models.
Will Standard iPhone 18 Launch in September?
This is one of the major concerns about the strategy of Apple in 2026. According to reports, it is quite likely that Apple would postpone the launch of its standard iPhone 18 and other low-priced models to a future date, while only launching its Pro series and its foldable smartphone at the September event.
According to Reuters, the company has changed its launch strategy as opposed to the previous one where the whole series of iPhones used to be refreshed at once.
iPhone 18 Canada: What Buyers Should Know
Canadian consumers have to be careful on launch day rumours. The Apple Store of Canada shows that the iPhone 17 Pro is now priced at C$1,599 and the iPhone 17 Pro Max costs C$1,749 whereas the major difference is the foldable iPhone, whose price tag is predicted to be over US$2,000. This will make the device more expensive than the Pro phones offered by Apple. As per Reuters, Apple’s move towards offering a foldable phone is due to the competition of its rivals Samsung and Huawei in the segment.
