iPhone 18 Pro Max Leaks: Apple’s ‘Surprise and Shine’ event is just a few hours away, and the final leaks surrounding the most awaited iPhone 18 Pro Max are giving buyers and fans a clearer picture of what t o expect. The flagship phone is expected to retain its 6.9-inch display while bringing a new A20 Pro chip, a larger battery, camera upgrades and a smaller Dynamic Island.
Apple is also expected to launch the iPhone 18 Pro alongside its first foldable iPhone at the September 9 event. The company has not officially confirmed the specifications or pricing of the iPhone 18 Pro Max.
iPhone 18 Pro Max Last-Minute Leaks: What’s New?
The latest reports suggest Apple is focusing on battery life, camera performance and processing power rather than a complete exterior redesign. The Pro Max is expected to continue with a 6.9-inch 120Hz display, while the biggest visual change could be a smaller Dynamic Island.
Under the hood, the smartphone is tipped to feature the A20 Pro chip built on a 2nm process, up to 12GB of RAM and storage options that could extend up to 2TB.
iPhone 18 Pro Max Event Live Streaming
Apple will stream the event through its official website, Apple TV and YouTube Live. The company has confirmed all three viewing options through its developer event page.
Indian viewers can watch the presentation from 10:30 PM IST on September 9. The event should reveal the final iPhone 18 Pro Max design, specifications, colours, pricing and availability.

iPhone 18 Pro Max Camera Leak: Variable Aperture Could Be the Big Upgrade (Expected)
The camera could be one of the biggest changes this year. Multiple reports point to a 48MP main camera with a variable aperture, allowing the lens to control the amount of light entering the sensor.
The Pro Max is still expected to retain a triple-camera setup, with the variable-aperture system potentially improving low-light photography and portrait shots. There is still some disagreement among leaks over whether this feature will be exclusive to the Pro Max or also appear on the iPhone 18 Pro.
iPhone 18 Pro Max Battery Leak: 5,567mAh Capacity Tipped (Expected)
Battery life could receive a major boost. One of the strongest battery leaks points to a 5,567mAh battery, which would represent a substantial increase over the previous generation.
The larger battery is expected to work alongside the more efficient 2nm A20 Pro chip and Apple’s new C2 modem. However, the bigger cell could also make the Pro Max slightly thicker or heavier.
iPhone 18 Pro Max Design Leak: Smaller Dynamic Island (Expected)
Apple reportedly plans to reduce the size of the Dynamic Island on the iPhone 18 Pro models. One leak claims the cutout could become significantly smaller, although reports differ on how much of the Face ID system will actually move underneath the display.
The overall design, however, is expected to remain close to the iPhone 17 Pro Max rather than introducing a completely new form factor.
iPhone 18 Pro Max Colours Leak: Dark Cherry, Sky Blue and Black? (Expected)
The final colour leaks are also pointing towards a major change. Reports have suggested Dark Cherry, Sky Blue and Black as possible colours for the iPhone 18 Pro lineup.
Another set of reports has mentioned Silver instead of Black, so the exact colour lineup remains uncertain until Apple officially reveals the devices.
