Apple appears to be preparing a major expansion of its premium product lineup, as reports suggest the company could introduce several ultra-high-end devices in the coming years. The potential lineup may include a foldable iPhone, a touchscreen MacBook Pro, and next-generation AirPods designed with advanced artificial intelligence capabilities.

These devices could launch alongside the future iPhone 18 series and represent Apple’s strategy to strengthen its presence in the ultra-premium technology segment. While the company currently uses the “Ultra” branding mainly for the Apple Watch Ultra and certain powerful M-series chips, new information indicates that Apple may extend the concept to additional product categories.

If the plans materialise, the new lineup could represent some of the most advanced and expensive devices Apple has ever produced.

Apple Ultra Devices 2026: What New Products Could Launch?

Reports suggest Apple is developing multiple premium devices designed to sit above its existing flagship models. These products may not all officially carry the “Ultra” name, but they are expected to feature cutting-edge technology and higher price points.

According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple’s next generation of devices could focus heavily on premium innovation. The company may introduce products that offer advanced hardware capabilities while targeting customers willing to pay more for top-tier technology.

This strategy could allow Apple to expand its ecosystem while continuing to attract both new users and high-end consumers.

Foldable iPhone: Apple’s Most Premium Smartphone Yet?

Among the most widely discussed devices is Apple’s long-rumoured foldable iPhone. Industry insiders believe the company is actively exploring foldable display technology for its future smartphone lineup.

The foldable iPhone could feature a large inner display that expands when unfolded, offering a tablet-like experience. Apple is also reportedly working to reduce or eliminate the visible crease that many foldable phones currently display.

With advanced display engineering, under-screen sensors, and improved durability, the device could become Apple’s most expensive smartphone yet. Some reports suggest the starting price may reach around $2,000.

If launched, the foldable iPhone would compete directly with other premium foldable devices already available in the global smartphone market.

Touchscreen MacBook Pro: A Major Change for Apple Laptops

Another product reportedly under development is a touchscreen MacBook Pro. Apple has historically avoided introducing touchscreens on MacBooks, maintaining that the traditional keyboard and trackpad setup works best with macOS.

However, upcoming MacBook Pro models could change that approach. Reports suggest Apple is exploring touchscreen support along with several other upgrades. Future MacBook Pro models may feature OLED displays, improved performance hardware, and possibly user interface elements inspired by Apple’s Dynamic Island design.

If the device launches as expected, it could arrive around October 2026 and may target professionals, developers, and creative users who require powerful and flexible computing tools.

Next-Generation AirPods Ultra: Smarter Audio Devices

Apple is also rumoured to be developing a new generation of AirPods that could introduce advanced AI features and sensors. These earbuds may include small cameras capable of providing visual context to Siri. This technology could enable enhanced visual intelligence capabilities, allowing the device to understand the surrounding environment.

With improved sensors and deeper integration with Apple’s AI ecosystem, the new AirPods could offer smarter voice commands, enhanced spatial awareness, and more intelligent device interaction.

Because of the complex hardware expected inside such compact earbuds, the next-generation AirPods could be priced higher than the current AirPods Pro and AirPods Max models.

Apple’s Strategy: Expanding the Premium Technology Market

Apple’s rumoured Ultra lineup suggests the company is focusing on strengthening its premium and luxury technology offerings. At the same time, Apple continues to expand its more affordable product lineup to attract new customers. Devices like the MacBook Neo and the iPhone 17e are expected to appeal to users entering the Apple ecosystem for the first time.

Meanwhile, mid-range devices such as the MacBook Air and iPad Air are designed to offer strong performance at a more accessible price point. High-performance devices like the MacBook Pro powered by advanced M-series chips will continue to target professionals who need powerful computing capabilities.

By covering entry-level, mid-range and premium segments, Apple can expand its reach across different categories of technology users.

Apple Ultra Devices Release Date: When Could They Launch?

Despite growing speculation, Apple has not officially confirmed any of these devices. Information regarding the exact product names, specifications and release schedules remains uncertain.

However, analysts believe some of the rumoured products could appear alongside the iPhone 18 lineup expected to launch in 2026. If the reports prove accurate, the new Ultra-level devices could mark one of Apple’s biggest product expansions in recent years.

For now, Apple fans and technology enthusiasts will need to wait for official announcements to learn more about the company’s future premium devices.
