Final Fantasy VII: Recap

In a dystopian 1997-inspired world, mercenary Cloud Strife joins eco-terrorists AVALANCHE against Shinra’s Mako reactors draining planet life. Uncover Cloud’s SOLDIER past, Sephiroth’s menace, and Midgar escape amid twists diverging from the 1997 original. Ends on a cliffhanger to Rebirth (2024).

Final Fantasy VII: Review Highlights

Metacritic 89/100: “A masterpiece redefining remakes” (IGN 10/10). Combat evolves fluidly; narrative expands lore masterfully. Switch 2 version promises solid 1080p/60fps handheld. Minor gripes: linear scope, episodic pacing. Essential for FF fans; trilogy completion awaits Part 3.
