GTA Online Kortz Center Heist: Rockstar Games has officially lifted the curtain on GTA Online’s biggest update of the summer. Launching on July 14, the update introduces The Kortz Center Heist, a brand-new multi-stage robbery that puts players in charge of stealing priceless artwork from one of Los Santos’ most heavily guarded museums.
Alongside the blockbuster heist, Rockstar is adding new vehicles, GTA$ rewards, mansion upgrades and fresh gameplay features that promise to keep players busy ahead of the highly anticipated launch of Grand Theft Auto VI.
Whether you’re a returning player or a longtime fan of GTA Online’s iconic robberies, here’s everything you need to know about the Kortz Center Heist.
GTA Kortz Center Heist Release Date Confirmed
Rockstar Games has confirmed that The Kortz Center Heist will arrive on July 14, 2026, as part of GTA Online’s Summer Update. The update will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and PC. It marks one of the biggest GTA Online content drops in recent years and brings back the large-scale, multi-stage heist experience that many players have been waiting for.
GTA Kortz Center Heist Payout Details
Rockstar has not officially revealed the final payout for completing the Kortz Center Heist. However, because it has been classified as a “blockbuster heist,” players expect it to offer one of the highest payouts in GTA Online, similar to the Diamond Casino Heist.
The final reward will depend on how efficiently players complete the mission. Collecting optional secondary targets and completing the robbery without attracting attention is expected to increase the overall payout. Rockstar is likely to reveal the official earnings once the update goes live.
GTA Kortz Center Heist: Rockstar Brings a New Heist to GTA Online Before GTA 6 Arrives
The Summer Update marks Rockstar’s return to the classic GTA Online heist formula after several business-focused expansions. Instead of smaller missions, players will once again plan and execute a large-scale robbery involving careful preparation, teamwork and strategic execution.
The announcement comes just months before Grand Theft Auto VI, making many fans believe Rockstar is giving GTA Online one final blockbuster adventure before shifting attention to the next chapter of the franchise.
GTA Kortz Center Heist: What is the Kortz Center Heist?
The Kortz Center Heist takes place inside the famous Kortz Center in Pacific Bluffs, one of Los Santos’ premier cultural landmarks. Rather than stealing cash or precious metals, players will attempt to steal valuable artwork while replacing the originals with expertly forged replicas.
Players will work alongside Mr. Faber and his fixer Raf De Angelis, who guide the operation from the planning stage through the final robbery. Rockstar has described the mission as a blockbuster heist, placing it alongside some of GTA Online’s biggest robberies.
GTA Kortz Center Heist: How Kortz Center Heist Works?
The mission begins with players scouting the museum to photograph valuable paintings, study security systems and identify escape routes. During the preparation phase, a counterfeiter based inside the Art Studio creates forged paintings while players collect weapons, equipment and specialised tools needed for the operation.
Once everything is ready, players launch the final robbery by infiltrating the museum, replacing the original artwork with the forged copies and escaping with the loot. Optional secondary targets hidden throughout the museum can increase the final payout.
Rockstar has also introduced a stronger focus on stealth. Avoiding witnesses, disabling CCTV systems and keeping the theft secret helps preserve the value of the stolen artwork, leading to larger rewards. The heist supports solo play or teams of up to four players, while weekly rotating paintings encourage replayability.
GTA Kortz Center Heist: How to Unlock the Kortz Center Heist?
Players must first purchase a Los Santos Mansion before they can access the new content.
After buying the property, they need to install the newly introduced Art Studio expansion, which becomes the base of operations for the heist. Once the Art Studio is operational, players can contact Mr. Faber and Raf De Angelis to begin preparation missions before launching the final robbery.
GTA Kortz Center Heist: Free GTA$ Rewards
Ahead of the update, Rockstar is giving players the chance to earn up to GTA$1.5 million through the Fine Art Collector Program.
Players can receive GTA$500,000 simply by logging into GTA Online before July 13, while completing eligible activities before the update launches can unlock an additional GTA$1 million. The bonus money can help players purchase the Mansion and Art Studio needed to unlock the new heist.
GTA Kortz Center Heist: New Vehicles & GTA+ Rewards
The Summer Update will also introduce several new supercars, drift-capable vehicles and models compatible with Hao’s Special Works (HSW) upgrades.
Meanwhile, GTA+ members will receive early access to the Grotti Veleno GT, allowing subscribers to drive the new vehicle before it becomes available for all players. Rockstar is expected to reveal the complete vehicle lineup closer to launch.
GTA Kortz Center Heist: Could This Be GTA Online’s Final Major Heist?
Although Rockstar has not confirmed that traditional GTA Online heists are ending, many players believe the Kortz Center Heist could be the game’s final major robbery before the focus shifts to GTA 6 Online.
After more than a decade of updates, iconic heists have become one of GTA Online’s defining features. Whether or not this turns out to be the last blockbuster mission, the Kortz Center Heist appears to celebrate everything that made GTA Online’s cooperative robberies one of the franchise’s most enduring experiences.
