For UAE consumers, the September 9 event could mark the introduction of Apple’s next-generation high-end iPhone models, along with potentially its first foldable smartphone.
iPhone 18 Launch Time in Dubai
The iPhone 18 event will start at 9 PM UAE time in Dubai on September 9. This corresponds to Apple’s announced 10 AM Pacific Time start in California.
The timing means viewers in Dubai can watch the complete Apple keynote live during the evening. The event is expected to be streamed through Apple’s official online platforms.
iPhone 18 Pro & iPhone 18 Pro Max Expected
The iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max are expected to be among the biggest announcements at the September 9 event.
Reports have pointed to upgrades involving the displays, cameras, batteries and overall design. However, these details remain subject to Apple’s official announcement.
Reuters reports that Apple is expected to introduce new high-end iPhone models alongside a potential foldable device at the event.
Foldable iPhone Expected At September 9 Apple Event
One of the biggest potential announcements is Apple’s first foldable iPhone.
Reuters reports that Apple is expected to unveil a foldable iPhone at the event, which would represent one of the company’s most significant smartphone design changes since the iPhone X.
The device has also been referred to in reports as the “iPhone Duo”, although Apple has not officially confirmed that name.
The launch would put Apple directly into a foldable smartphone market already occupied by Samsung, Google and other manufacturers.
Will The Standard iPhone 18 Launch In Dubai?
The standard iPhone 18 may not be announced at the September event.
Reports suggest Apple could adopt a staggered iPhone launch strategy, with the Pro models and foldable device arriving first and the standard iPhone 18 potentially being introduced later. The Verge reports that the base iPhone 18 could be delayed until early 2027. This remains a reported release strategy rather than an officially confirmed Apple schedule.
iPhone 18 Pre-Order Date In UAE
Apple has yet to officially confirm the iPhone 18 pre-order date for the UAE.
Reports have suggested that pre-orders for some of the new iPhone models could begin shortly after the September 9 event. However, UAE customers should wait for Apple’s official confirmation before relying on a specific pre-order date.
The availability schedule could also differ between the iPhone 18 Pro, Pro Max and any foldable model.
iPhone 18 Release Date In Dubai
The iPhone 18 release date in Dubai has not been officially confirmed.
If Apple follows its recent launch pattern, selected new iPhone models could become available for pre-order shortly after the event and reach stores soon afterwards. However, the reported staggered strategy could result in different release windows for different models. Apple’s UAE store will provide the definitive availability information once sales dates are announced.
iPhone 18 Price In UAE
Apple has not officially announced the iPhone 18 price in Dubai or the UAE.
The expected pricing is likely to vary significantly depending on the model and storage capacity. The potential foldable iPhone is expected to occupy an especially high price segment, with Reuters reporting expectations of a price above $2,000. Any specific UAE dirham prices circulating before Apple’s official announcement should therefore be treated as estimates.
How To Watch iPhone 18 Event Live In Dubai
Dubai viewers can follow the Apple event online from 9 PM UAE time on September 9. Apple is streaming the event through its official website, while the event is also expected to be available through Apple TV and YouTube.
This allows UAE viewers to watch Apple’s announcements live without needing to convert the US event time.
