Indian buyers can pre-order the device from September 12, with deliveries beginning September 18.

In the US, the iPhone 18 Pro starts at $1,199 for the base 256GB model, or $49.95 a month over 24 months through Apple’s financing options. Apple is offering trade-in credit of between $175 and $885 for customers upgrading from an iPhone 13 or later, while select carrier deals can offer up to $1,200 in additional credit for eligible trade-ins.

Pre-orders for the iPhone 18 Pro opened at 5 a.m. Pacific Time on Saturday, September 12, across more than 65 countries and regions, including India, the US, the UK, Australia, Canada, Germany, Japan and the UAE. Retail availability begins Friday, September 18, in these markets, with a further 20 countries and regions gaining access from September 25.

iPhone 18 Pro Launch 2026: What Camera Upgrades Does the iPhone 18 Pro Bring?
The headline addition is a new 48MP Fusion Main camera with variable aperture, which Apple describes as the most advanced camera it has ever built. Six laser-cut blades allow the aperture to adjust automatically between settings as wide as ƒ/1.48 for low-light shots and as narrow as ƒ/4 for greater depth of field in group photos, while a new Pro controls interface lets users manually adjust aperture, shutter speed and white balance, alongside a histogram for checking exposure.
Apple has also introduced Apple Reference Image, an opt-in feature that uses signed sensor data to create an unalterable reference photo alongside any image, allowing users to verify whether a picture has since been edited. Video capabilities have also expanded, with the ability to apply Cinematic effects after filming at up to 60fps, along with 4K Dolby Vision HDR time-lapse recording.

Built on a 2-nanometre manufacturing process, the new A20 Pro chip features a 6-core CPU with integrated Neural Accelerators, a 7-core GPU that Apple says is up to 40 percent faster than the previous generation, and a Dual 16-core Neural Engine offering double the AI processing power of the A19 Pro.
A redesigned vapor chamber, with three times more surface area than on the iPhone 17 Pro, allows the chip to sustain performance gains of up to 40 percent under heavy use. The device also introduces Apple’s new C2 cellular modem, offering faster uploads and 15 percent lower power consumption than its predecessor.

The iPhone 18 Pro ships with iOS 27 and access to Siri AI, Apple’s more conversational assistant rolling out in beta from September 14, which draws on personal context across messages, emails and photos to complete tasks hands-free. The redesigned Dynamic Island can now display up to three Live Activities simultaneously, while battery life reaches up to 36 hours of video playback on eSIM-only models, with the phone able to charge to 50 percent in around 15 minutes wired or 30 minutes wirelessly.

The iPhone 18 Pro comes in four finishes: black, silver, glacier and an all-new burgundy.
