NYT Connections 06 February, 2026: NYT Connections is quickly becoming one of the most engaging word puzzles offered by the New York Times. Launched as a daily puzzle, it challenges you to find four connections between words that have something in common where every puzzle including today’s #971 for February 6, will test your logic, vocabulary and observation skills.

What is NYT Connections?

NYT Connections is a puzzle where 16 words are presented and players must group them into four sets of four based on shared themes. Difficulty varies:

  • Green: Easiest
  • Yellow: Moderate
  • Blue: Challenging
  • Purple: Most difficult
    Players can make up to four mistakes and often the final group can be solved by process of elimination and it’s available free on desktop and mobile via the NYT Games site.
