Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Leaks: Leaks are giving fans an early look at the company’s next premium smartphone. The biggest change could come on the rear, where Samsung may replace its familiar individual camera rings with a larger raised camera plateau.

The new design has already sparked comparisons with Apple’s recent iPhone Pro models. However, Samsung has not officially confirmed the Galaxy S27 Ultra design or specifications yet.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Leaks

Recent CAD renders show the Galaxy S27 Ultra with a redesigned rear camera section. Instead of separate floating rings, the cameras could sit inside a wider horizontal housing.

The leaked design represents a significant change from the Galaxy S26 Ultra. It could also give Samsung more space to rearrange its camera hardware.

Another major rumour concerns the telephoto cameras. Samsung could remove the existing 3x telephoto camera and put more emphasis on the longer-range zoom system.

A newer report has also suggested that Samsung is testing a 4x telephoto camera. This conflicts with earlier reports that pointed to a stronger 5x setup, so the final camera configuration remains unclear.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Leaks: 4 Models, 4 Sizes

Samsung could expand the Galaxy S27 family to four models. The reported lineup includes the Galaxy S27, Galaxy S27 Plus, Galaxy S27 Pro and Galaxy S27 Ultra.

The standard S27 and S27 Plus could retain a more familiar rear design. Meanwhile, the new S27 Pro and S27 Ultra are expected to share the wider camera plateau.

The Galaxy S27 Pro could become a smaller alternative to the Ultra. Reports suggest it may offer several premium features but skip the built-in S Pen.

The leaked display sizes reportedly range from around 6.3 inches on the S27 to around 6.9 inches on the Ultra. These sizes remain unconfirmed.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Leaks: Samsung Copying Apple?

The redesigned camera housing has led to accusations that Samsung is copying Apple. The leaked S27 Ultra looks noticeably different from previous Galaxy Ultra phones and resembles the camera plateau used on recent iPhone Pro models.

However, the design is not exclusive to Apple. Other smartphone makers have also used large horizontal camera sections, while Samsung itself has used different camera-strip designs in the past.

There could also be a practical reason behind Samsung’s move. Some reports suggest the new rear design could create space for magnetic wireless charging hardware.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Leaks: Camera Design Leaked

The camera design remains the biggest Galaxy S27 Ultra leak so far. CAD renders show a raised rectangular section across the upper rear portion of the phone.

The leaked design appears to house three camera openings rather than the four-camera arrangement found on the Galaxy S26 Ultra.

Samsung could therefore be changing its approach to zoom photography. The company may remove the 3x telephoto while improving the longer-range camera.

Another leak points to a possible 4x telephoto sensor. Because reports disagree on the exact setup, the final camera specifications will need to wait for Samsung’s official announcement.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Leaks: Is the Samsung Camera Design Similar to That of Apple?

Yes, the leaked camera design looks similar to Apple’s recent Pro iPhone approach. Both designs use a wide raised section rather than placing each camera inside an isolated ring.

That similarity is one reason the S27 Ultra has attracted so much attention before launch. The design could give Samsung’s next Ultra a completely different appearance.

Still, the resemblance does not prove that Samsung copied Apple. A larger camera housing can also help manufacturers accommodate increasingly large sensors and other internal components.

The reported addition of magnetic charging could be another reason for the redesign. If Samsung adopts this feature, the new camera arrangement could help free up space around the centre of the rear panel.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Launch Date in India (Expected)

Samsung has not announced the Galaxy S27 Ultra launch date in India. Current reports point to an early 2027 launch for the Galaxy S27 series.

January or February 2027 appears to be the most likely window based on Samsung’s usual flagship schedule. SamMobile also expects the new series to arrive early next year.

The exact India launch date will likely be announced alongside the global Galaxy Unpacked event. Until then, any specific date should be treated as a leak rather than confirmed information.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Price in India (Expected)

Samsung has not revealed the Galaxy S27 Ultra price in India. There is currently no confirmed India price for the upcoming flagship.

The phone is expected to remain the most expensive model in the Galaxy S27 range. However, the final price could depend on storage, camera hardware, chipset and production costs.

Buyers should therefore avoid treating early online price estimates as official. Samsung is expected to reveal the final pricing closer to launch.

Samsung Galaxy S27 Ultra Leaks: What to Expect?

The Galaxy S27 Ultra could bring a major visual change without completely abandoning the Ultra formula. The S Pen and large display are expected to remain central to the premium model.

The biggest upgrade could instead come from the camera system. Samsung may remove one telephoto camera while introducing a different zoom setup and a completely new rear camera housing.

The possible Galaxy S27 Pro is another important development. If Samsung launches four models, the Pro could sit between the Plus and Ultra and offer a smaller premium option.
