Tata Punch Facelift: Upgraded Features

Safety receives a major boost in the facelift. The Punch now comes with six airbags as standard across variants. It also gets ESC, ABS, TPMS and reverse parking sensors. The addition of a 360-degree camera further improves safety during tight manoeuvres. Tata continues to highlight safety as a core strength. This update strengthens Punch’s position in safety-conscious markets.

Tata Punch Facelift Boot Space

The Punch now offers the largest boot in its segment.

  • Petrol variants: 366 litres
  • CNG variants: 210 litres usable space

Tata Punch Facelift: Performance & Practicality

Tata Motors claims the Punch facelift can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in 11.1 seconds. It delivers a power-to-weight ratio of 105 PS per tonne. The high seating position improves road visibility.

With 193 mm ground clearance, it handles bad roads comfortably. Practical touches like wide-opening doors and good cabin space remain strengths.

Tata Punch Facelift: Design and Exterior

The 2026 Punch features slimmer LED DRLs, new LED headlamps, a redesigned 3D grille and a tougher front bumper.

At the rear, connected LED tail-lamps and a revised bumper add a modern touch. New 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels enhance its stance.

Tata Punch iTurbo

The Punch iTurbo is the biggest mechanical upgrade in the facelift. With 120 PS and 170 Nm, it becomes the most powerful Punch ever. The turbo-petrol engine targets buyers seeking stronger highway performance.

It bridges the gap between entry-level hatchbacks and compact SUVs. Tata positions it as a performance-focused option without increasing size.

Bookings for the Tata Punch facelift opened on January 13, 2026. Tata confirmed that orders are being accepted across all variants and fuel options.
