CBSE Class 10 Board Exams: With the CBSE Class 10 Board Exams for 2026 beginning today, February 17, over two million students at over 26,000 centers are about to enter an critical juncture of their lives. Last-minute nervousness is of no use; what is required is strategic preparation of the high weightage topics, clear answers and composure under pressure, which differentiates the top 10% from the rest.
The exams will start from February 17 and will continue through March 2026 over two daily shifts over 3.8 million students from Class 10 and Class 12 will take part in this biggest board exam procedure in India. The results will likely come out in May.

Begin with the part of the paper you feel most confident with this will usually be the short answer questions or the MCQs. Manage your time by marks approximately 1.5 minutes per mark if it’s an 80-mark paper. Use a black pen throughout and reserve the blue pen for underlining. With longer questions, use the introduction, point, explanation and conclusion structure. Label diagrams on both sides with a pencil. With step-by-step marks in the long questions, make sure you show your working even if your answer isn’t correct.
