CSIR NET June 2026 Answer Key: How To Raise Objections?
Candidates who believe there is an error in the provisional answer key can challenge the concerned question through the online objection facility. The objection window will remain open from August 16 to August 18, 2026. Candidates will have to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs 200 for each question challenged and provide valid supporting evidence for their claim.
NTA will review the submitted challenges with the help of subject experts. If an objection is found valid, the provisional answer key may be revised. The final answer key will be prepared after the objection process, and the CSIR NET result will be based on the final key.
How To Calculate CSIR NET 2026 Expected Score?
Candidates can estimate their probable score by comparing their responses with the answers given in the provisional key. They should first count their correct and incorrect answers separately for Parts A, B and C and then apply the prescribed marking scheme. Each correct answer carries two marks, while 0.5 marks are deducted for each incorrect answer. No marks are awarded or deducted for unanswered questions.
