The National Testing Agency (NTA) is scheduled to release the provisional answer keys for the Joint CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 and ICAR AIEEA (PG) and AICE JRF/SRF (PhD) 2026 examinations today, August 16. Candidates who appeared for the exams will be able to check the provisional answers and their recorded responses through the respective NTA examination portals.
The provisional keys will allow candidates to compare their responses and challenge any answer they believe is incorrect within the prescribed objection window.
When Will The CSIR NET June 2026 Answer Key Be Released?
The CSIR-UGC NET June 2026 provisional answer key and response sheets are scheduled to be released today. The examination was conducted in computer-based mode on July 17 and 18 across five subjects: Chemical Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences, Life Sciences, Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences.
The three-hour examination consisted of Parts A, B and C. Part A assessed general aptitude, while Parts B and C focused on subject specific knowledge, with Part C carrying higher weightage analytical and research-oriented questions.
How Can Candidates Challenge The CSIR NET Answer Key?
After the provisional key is released, candidates will be allowed to raise objections against the answers through the NTA portal. The objection window is expected to remain open for a limited period, with the exact deadline and applicable fee to be specified in the official notice. NTA will examine the valid challenges before preparing the final answer key. The final results and scorecards are expected later in August.
When Will The ICAR AIEEA PG Answer Key Be Released?
The provisional answer keys for ICAR AIEEA (PG) and AICE JRF/SRF (PhD) 2026 are also scheduled to be released today. The examinations were conducted in computer-based mode on July 4. The AIEEA (PG) paper consisted of 120 multiple choice questions carrying 480 marks. Candidates received four marks for every correct answer, while one mark was deducted for an incorrect response.
How Can Candidates Check The ICAR AIEEA PG Answer Key?
Candidates will be able to access the provisional answer key and recorded responses through the NTA’s agricultural examinations portal. They will need to log in using their examination credentials and download the answer key for reference. Candidates who find discrepancies can submit challenges online during the notified objection period. A non-refundable processing fee may be applicable for each challenged question.

What Happens After The Provisional Answer Key?
NTA will consider the objections received from candidates before finalising the answer keys. The final scores and ranks for the respective examinations are expected in the last week of August. For ICAR AIEEA (PG), the result will be followed by the counselling and choice filling process for admission to eligible postgraduate programmes.
