How Does Karnataka NEET UG Round 1 Choice Filling Work?
During the choice filling or option entry window, eligible candidates can enter their preferred medical and dental colleges and courses. Candidates should carefully arrange their choices based on their preferences, merit, eligibility and the availability of seats. The submitted preferences will be considered during the seat allotment process. Students are advised to review their choices carefully before the deadline, as the preferences entered during the counselling process can play an important role in determining the college and course allotted to them.
What Happens After Karnataka NEET UG Round 1 Seat Allotment?
Once the provisional allotment result is released, candidates who receive a seat will have to follow the instructions issued by KEA regarding the subsequent admission process.
The authority will provide further details regarding the final allotment and reporting process separately. Candidates should carefully check the official notification for instructions, deadlines and documents required for admission.
Candidates who do not secure a seat in the first round may have an opportunity to participate in subsequent counselling rounds, subject to the eligibility conditions and rules announced by KEA. Students should continue to monitor official updates instead of assuming that the Round 1 result is their final opportunity for admission.
Candidates should regularly check the official KEA website for the latest notifications related to NEET UG 2026 counselling, seat matrices, option entry, allotment results and admission instructions. KEA’s official portal is currently carrying updates related to UG NEET 2026, including notifications concerning seats and counselling.
