NEET UG 2026 Refund: NTA Extends Bank Account Update Window Till July 14; Check Direct Link, Step-by-Step Process And Other Details

NTA has extended the deadline for NEET UG 2026 candidates to update their bank account details for the examination fee refund. Candidates who have not completed the process can now do so till July 14, 2026.

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the bank account update facility for NEET UG 2026 candidates who are yet to receive their examination fee refund after the May 3 exam was cancelled. The National Testing Agency (NTA) said that while 10,28,223 candidates have already confirmed or updated their bank account details and the refund process has started for them, a large number of candidates are yet to complete the process. To ensure that every eligible student receives the refund, NTA has reopened the bank account confirmation and updation facility. Eligible candidates can now confirm or update their bank details on the official portal till July 14, 2026, at 11:50 PM to ensure the refund is processed without delay. According to NTA, candidates should complete the process before the deadline so that the refund can be processed without any further delay.

How To Update Bank Account Details For NEET UG 2026 Refund?

Candidates can follow these steps:

1.    Visit the official NEET UG portal at neet.nta.nic.in.
2.    Log in using your application credentials and complete the two-factor authentication process.
3.    Click on the “Bank Account Details Confirmation/Updation” link.
4.    Enter or update your bank account details carefully.
5.    If required, upload a cancelled cheque to verify your bank account information.
6.    Submit the updated details before July 14, 2026 (11:50 PM).

Who Should Update Their Bank Details?

Candidates who have not yet confirmed or updated their bank account information should complete the process within the given timeline. NTA has advised all eligible candidates to verify their banking details carefully to avoid delays in receiving the examination fee refund.
