What Is The Application Verification Schedule?
The verification process will be conducted in two stages:
•   Level-1 (L1) Verification: Institute Nodal Officers (INOs) will verify applications by September 15, 2026.
•   Level-2 (L2) Verification: District Nodal Officers (DNOs) will complete verification by September 30, 2026.
Applicants should ensure that all details and supporting documents are accurate to avoid rejection during verification.
Who Is Eligible For The NMMSS Scholarship?
The National Means-cum-Merit Scholarship Scheme is meant for meritorious students from economically weaker sections to encourage them to continue their education after Class VIII. To be eligible, the annual parental income from all sources should not exceed ₹3.5 lakh at the time of selection. The scholarship is awarded based on merit and aims to reduce dropout rates among deserving students at the secondary education level.
Can Students Apply For Other Scholarships Along With NMMSS?
