The Pokémon Center has launched its second wave of pre-orders for the highly anticipated Pokémon TCG 30th Celebration products, once again sending thousands of collectors into the virtual queue. Long wait times, fluctuating timers, and errors such as Error 17 and Error 43 have left many fans wondering whether they still have a chance to secure their orders.

Pokémon Center Queue Today: When did the second pre-order wave begin?

The second wave of Pokémon Center pre-orders went live on:

  • Date: Monday, July 20, 2026
  • Time: Around 10:00 a.m. CT (11:00 a.m. ET / 8:00 a.m. PT), when additional products began appearing after the virtual queue opened.

As with previous launches, Pokémon Center activated its virtual waiting room before products became available due to exceptionally high demand.

What’s available to pre-order?

The second wave added two more 30th Celebration products:

  • 30th Celebration Booster Bundle (Purchase limit: 3)
  • 30th Celebration Mini Tin Display (Purchase limit: 1)

The first wave, released on July 15, included:

  • Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box (Limit 2)
  • Lucario Tech Sticker Collection (Limit 1)
  • Alolan Exeggutor Tech Sticker Collection (Limit 1)
  • Knockout Collection (Limit 1)

How much can I buy?

Purchase limits vary by product to discourage scalping.

Current limits include:

Product Purchase Limit
Booster Bundle 3
Mini Tin Display 1
Pokémon Center Elite Trainer Box 2
Tech Sticker Collections 1 each
Knockout Collection 1

Pokémon Center warns customers to follow posted purchase limits, as violating them may cause checkout issues.

What is Error 17?

Error 17 generally indicates that the website’s security system has blocked your connection because it detected unusual traffic or suspicious activity.

Common reasons include:

  • Using a VPN
  • Refreshing the queue repeatedly
  • Opening multiple tabs
  • Switching networks while waiting
  • Automated browser activity

Although Pokémon Center has not officially documented Error 17, community reports consistently associate it with anti-bot protection.

What is Error 43?

Unlike Error 17, Error 43 has not been officially explained by Pokémon Center.

Collectors report seeing Error 43 when:

  • The queue session expires
  • Website traffic spikes
  • The server temporarily rejects a request
  • Queue authentication fails

In most cases, waiting a few minutes and rejoining the queue resolves the issue.

What should I do if I was banned?

If you encounter Error 17 or believe you were temporarily blocked:

  • Stop refreshing the page.
  • Turn off any VPN or proxy.
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies.
  • Try another browser such as Chrome.
  • Restart your router or switch networks if appropriate.
  • Join the queue again using a clean browser session.

Pokémon Center also advises shopping only in your own region and avoiding multiple tabs or workarounds, as these can trigger technical errors.

Should I be worried about my timer?

Probably not.

Many users report seeing wait times jump from one hour to more than 10 hours before dropping dramatically. During major launches, the queue estimate is only an approximation and frequently adjusts as traffic changes.

Pokémon Center also notes that long waits are normal during periods of heavy traffic and that estimated wait times can change significantly.

How to prepare for TPC’s 30th anniversary drop

To improve your chances of checking out successfully:

  • Sign in to your Pokémon Center account beforehand.
  • Save your shipping and billing information.
  • Join the virtual queue early.
  • Keep only one queue tab open.
  • Avoid refreshing the page.
  • Use a stable internet connection.
  • Do not use a VPN.
  • Have your payment method ready.

Remember that entering the queue does not guarantee product availability.

Where is my email confirmation?

If your order was successful:

  • A confirmation email is usually sent shortly after checkout.
  • During high-volume releases, confirmation emails may take longer than usual.
  • Check your spam or junk folder.
  • Verify your order in your Pokémon Center account.

For certain 30th Celebration merchandise, Pokémon Center has acknowledged that processing delays are occurring before shipment notifications are sent.

Why do people want this set?

The 30th Celebration collection marks Pokémon’s 30th anniversary and is widely expected to become one of the year’s biggest collector releases.

Collectors are especially interested because of:

  • Exclusive Pokémon Center products
  • Limited purchase quantities
  • Anniversary-themed packaging
  • High demand from collectors and investors
  • Strong potential long-term collectibility

Previous Pokémon Center-exclusive products have frequently sold out within hours, making anniversary releases especially sought after.
