Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the PDF have been shortlisted for the Local Language Proficiency Test (LPT). This is a mandatory qualifying stage and plays a crucial role in final selection.
The LPT checks whether a candidate can read, write, and speak the local language of the state or region they have applied for. Depending on the region, the test may include reading comprehension, basic writing tasks, or a short conversational assessment.Â
Importantly, there is no separate interview round in the SBI Clerk recruitment process.

The final merit list will be prepared based on:
