Thousands of banking aspirants received a major update on Friday as the State Bank of India announced the SBI Clerk Mains Result 2026. The results were declared on February 27, 2026, for candidates who appeared in the Junior Associate (Customer Support and Sales) Mains examination conducted in November last year. With this announcement, the recruitment process has entered its final phase.
The SBI Clerk Mains examination was held on November 21, 2025, at multiple exam centres across India. Candidates who took the test can now check their qualifying status on the official SBI websites, sbi.co.in and sbi.bank.in.
As per the standard practice followed by the bank, the result has been released in PDF format, listing only the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates. Individual marks are not included in this document.

Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the PDF have been shortlisted for the Local Language Proficiency Test (LPT). This is a mandatory qualifying stage and plays a crucial role in final selection.
The LPT checks whether a candidate can read, write, and speak the local language of the state or region they have applied for. Depending on the region, the test may include reading comprehension, basic writing tasks, or a short conversational assessment.
