From West Delhi’s Kirti Nagar, a heart breaking video has gained intense attention online after it showed a woman repeatedly slapping a security guard outside a police station over the alleged killing of a stray dog.

The disturbing incident happened on May 9, outside Kirti Nagar Police Station. In the viral video, animal welfare activist Jasmeet Kaur Arora is seen slapping a uniformed security guard with her slipper while police personnel stand beside her.

Police sources and witnesses say the argument happened after reports alleged that the guard had beaten a stray dog with a stick or an iron rod. The animal was taken to a private veterinary hospital, and was declared dead inside the hospital.

However the Police say that the veterinary hospital has not yet confirmed the cause of death through an official statement.
